How We Make Wooden Brushes Sustainably: Materials, Waste and Energy
Sustainability in brush manufacturing is not a slogan; it is a series of concrete choices in sourcing, cutting and finishing.
We source beech and bamboo from suppliers we audit regularly, and every incoming timber batch is checked for moisture content so it cuts cleanly with less waste.
Cutting and drilling offcuts are collected, graded and reused — larger pieces become small hand brushes and combs, and the rest is chipped for biomass. Nothing goes to landfill from our wood line.
Our finishing process uses water-based lacquers and low-temperature curing, which reduces VOC emissions compared with solvent-based alternatives while keeping the same smooth, durable surface.
For brands planning their own sustainability story, we can provide material origin documentation and per-unit waste data to support your packaging claims.
