Our First Product: The Wooden Paddle Brush That Started It All
Our first product was a beech wood paddle brush with mixed boar and nylon bristle — the classic salon workhorse, and the best possible product to learn manufacturing on.
The first batch taught us humility. Early handles had minor sanding inconsistencies, and the first tufting run had to be re-done because bristle density varied across the pad.
We fixed the issues by slowing down: finer sanding stages, calibrated tufting tension and a simple inspection checklist at the end of the line. The second batch shipped without a single defect claim.
That paddle brush established our production philosophy — wood first, bristle second, finish always — and it remains in our range today, refined but recognisably the same product.
Every product we have added since has followed the same path: design carefully, test honestly, improve continuously.
