Our First European Order: A Story of Samples and Patience
Every export factory remembers its first European order. Ours began with a short email from a German distributor asking for three samples of a wooden body brush.
We shipped the samples with a handwritten spec sheet — dimensions, materials and packing details — and waited. Two months passed. Then the order came: 2,000 pieces with our first custom logo requirement.
The production run taught us the export essentials: consistent moisture content in the wood, precise bristle tufting, and packaging that survives a container journey without crushing.
We also learned the value of documentation. Every shipment since has included full packing lists, carton marking instructions and inspection-ready quality reports.
That distributor is still a customer today. The lesson we tell every new buyer: samples and patience are the cheapest investment in a relationship that lasts.
