Inside Our Automated Production Line: What Automation Changed
In 2023 we completed a major production upgrade: semi-automated cutting and drilling stations, CNC profiling for handles, and a continuous finishing line with precision sanding.
Automation did not replace craftsmanship; it removed the variance. CNC profiling means every handle in an order is identical to within fractions of a millimetre, which is exactly what retail buyers expect.
Drilling automation improved tufting consistency — holes are now placed to tighter tolerances, so bristle retention is more uniform and brush life is longer in customer testing.
The hand-finished stage remains: final sanding inspection, bristle dressing and packaging are done by hand, because that is where defects are caught before shipment.
For buyers, the practical benefit is scale and stability — we can hold consistent quality across orders of thousands of pieces, and repeat orders come off the line exactly like the approved sample.
